"Simon was the Summit Leader at J8 Edinburgh 2005, the official youth event of the G8 Summit (www.j82006.com). The 3-day Summit provided an opportunity for young people from all G8 countries to meet together, discuss and debate topical global issues, and to present their ideas to world leaders – which they did when they handed Tony Blair their work on the first day of the G8 Summit in Gleneagles in July 2005.

As Summit Leader, Simon was the spokesperson throughout the J8 Summit, and the person the students and teachers all looked to for information and guidance.
